First Thanksgiving

I couldn't be anymore thankful if I tried.  Thank you sweet baby girl.  Thank you for coming into my life and sweeping me away in your love.  Thank you for being so sweet.  Thank you for your early morning smiles.  Thank you for your sloppy kisses.  Thank you.  Just thank you.

A couple more photos from our weekend. An otter on the fence post outside of the Otter House Pub and Grille. A sleepy baby sitting by me during our 3 hour drive home. And a movie and snack for mama while baby napped.
Overall this was a very splendid weekend. I didn't take as many photos as I wanted to but I was too busy taking care of a fussy teething 9 month old and relaxing in pajamas with family. Hopefully we'll be heading back again after Christmas.
Elodie did pretty well. And she went straight to her daddy's when we got back to DE. I can't wait to see my little munchkin tonight after work. It's hard going a couple days without seeing that pudgy face. But that's a whole other huge post which I'm sure I'll dive into sooner or later.

Traveling Girl

In Virginia for the weekend for my step sister's birthday. First major trip for El. First trip out of state. It's been up and down. The car ride was fine on the way here. She slept nearly the whole way. Last night was a little rough. Elodie is teething and in the middle of the worst bout of separation anxiety. She cries if I try to go to the bathroom! I'm sure it'll get easier in the next few months. At least I hope so. We are heading into downtown Fredericksburg after morning nap time for some sight seeing. There will be more photos to come!
