So here is the shortest version of what we've done this past year:
- December 2012
- Mama took you to see a specialist about the blue spells - got the results and the prognosis is good - you have a tendon around your left ventricle that is causing your heart to not work as stongly as it should, but the doctor said that this is easily outgrown with no further complications
- Performed in your first Christmas Special at school - you rang your bell better than any of the other littles!
- Had a wonderful second Christmas - first time celebrating with David
- January 2013
- Celebrated mama's 25th birthday - mama got to go to NYC to see Mamma Mia on Broadway with Papa and Gigi
- Celebrated your second birthday - with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed party
- February 2013
- You played in the snow for the very first time - and loved every second!
- Mama and David spent a lovely Valentine's weekend in Atlantic City
- March 2013
- Mama and David took you to the Children's Museum in Philadelphia for the first time - you loved it!
- April 2013
- Lots of snuggles and playing indoors - winter stuck around for so long!
- You became absolutely enamored with the Toy Story franchise - we watched all three films, in rotation, everyday, all month long
- May 2013
- Graduation day from your One Year Old's room
- You got to meet David's extended family at his uncle's law school graduation party - you absolutely love little miss Penny!
- June 2013
- We spent a lot of time outside, playing in the grass, jumping on the trampoline, and going to the park
- Mama and David had an amazing time at our very first festival - Firefly - right here in our very own little state - I hope to take you in a few years
- July 2013
- Mama missed taking you to see fireworks this year because of the job I had at the time - but we'll go next year for sure!
- Mama and David took you to the beach - only time this year, but we'll go more often next year, now that mama has a better job!
- You rode all by yourself for the first time on a ride at the State Fair - you did so well, and didn't want to get off when the ride was over
- August 2013
- Spent more time playing outside and jumping on the trampoline
- Mama and David took a weekend trip to NYC to see The Lion King on Broadway - and much to mama's surprise and delight, got engaged in Central Park!
- September 2013
- Mama and David took you to Coleman's Christmas Tree Farm for pumpkin picking - you had more fun playing on the wooden playground and pirate ship than you did in the pumpkin patch
- October 2013
- Mama missed taking you trick-or-treating due to class - but Papa and Gigi took you out - you were the cutest little fox ever!
That brings us back to November 2013! It's only half way into the month, so there isn't much to update on. You have become extremely whiny lately and clingy to mama. Three is going to be tough, but no matter what, I love you so much butthead baby!
